The PVRS Gender & Sexuality Alliance is part of a national youth leadership movement of youth activists working to end harassment and discrimination in schools based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We also offer a safe space for students to discuss their experiences at Pioneer in relation to their gender and sexual identity. It's also a really great chance to make new friends and chat with other students.
Membership is open to students in grades 7-12.

GenerationQ and GenerationQ Jr: Virtual meetings for LGBTQ+ youth throughout Western Mass sponsored by Community Action. During the COVID-19 pandemic, GenQ is utilizing a peer support model for youth during the week through the Discord app. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m., we host virtual meetings. GenerationQ Jr. is a group for middle school-aged youth. This group has been meeting during the pandemic via Zoom meetings.
LGBTQ Resource Map: A virtual map that connects you to LGBTQ+ services near you
GLSEN: A national organization that works to ensure LGBTQ+ students are safe at school. Check out this link to see specific Massachusetts initiatives for youth. There is also a weekly virtual drop in space for youth at 6pm on Thursdays!
