Principal's Welcome
Welcome to the Pioneer Valley Regional School website!

We hope that the website will provide students, families, staff and the wider community both an overview of what we have to offer at PVRS, and specific information that will help you find the right people, forms, and information you need to help you as a member of the Pioneer Valley school community.

Pioneer Valley Regional School is a comprehensive middle/high school serving 400+ students in grades 7 through 12. We serve students from the towns of Bernardston, Leyden, Northfield, and Warwick. In addition, about 25% of our students live in other area towns in Massachusetts and Vermont, and select Pioneer as their school of choice. Our school culture is based on the tenets of respect, personal responsibility and academic excellence.

In addition to academic offering in the core subjects, every semester we offer over 20 elective courses in art, music, theater, health and wellness, journalism, creative writing, business, technology, engineering, law, psychology, and sociology. We also have a wide range of extracurricular activities including interscholastic athletics for both middle and high school students, and clubs that include blacksmithing, gaming, ultimate Frisbee, outing club, knitting club and many more.

If you have any question or concerns, or need help finding the information you are looking for, please contact me, Jean Bacon, Assistant Principal Jennifer Albert Perry, or Dean of Students Cathy HawkinsHarrison.
